Prepare and Ship Your Trade-In Order
Remove accounts and reset your device
- Remove your iCloud or Google/Samsung account and all passwords. View our guide to removing accounts here.
- Deactivate carrier service and pay off any remaining balance on your account.
- Backup files if necessary then factory reset your device.
Package your device
It is important that you package your item(s) securely. We recommend that you use a sturdy box or padded envelope. Wrap your items in padding such as bubble wrap. Fill any empty space in your package with extra padding such as crumpled paper, packing peanuts, or air cushions so that your item(s) do not move around during shipping. Seal the package shut with tape.
If you requested to receive shipping materials from us, you should receive them within a few days of placing your order.
Ship your package
Shipping your devices with SmartphonesPLUS is easy. Once you complete your order and package your items in a box or a padded envelope the last step is to ship them to our facility. Choose an option below that is easiest for you.
Option 1: Print and ship
Print out the pre-paid shipping label. Securely stick this label to the box using tape. You can find your shipping label attached to the order confirmation email. Next, drop your package off at the nearest USPS location or schedule a pickup.
Option 2: No printer? Use the QR code to ship
If you don’t have a printer with you simply show the USPS store associate the QR code in your order confirmation email. They can scan this QR code and print out a shipping label for you.
Option 3: Schedule a package pickup with DoorDash.
DoorDash offers a package pickup service. Here’s how it works:
- Schedule a package pickup right on the DoorDash app.
- Print and stick the prepaid shipping label to the package or provide the QR code to the DoorDash driver.
- The driver will send a photo of the confirmation receipt after drop-off.
